Olive & Finch - Denver: Reviews & Ratings
The food is incredible! Every dish was seasoned beautifully, the portions were generous, and the drinks? Beautiful! We had the breakfast tacos, farmhouse scramble, and ricotta pancakes and each dish was phenomenal!
My husband and I had apps on the patio after going to Buelle Theatre. We ordered the smoked salmon/capers/dill app (blanking on the name) and the Mediterranean charcuterie board. Both we were delicious and tasted very fresh! The patio atmosphere was perfect and the staff were exceptional! Although we ordered and paid via a QR code, the staff was still attentive and involved in our experience!
Had a nice quick dinner before a show at the DCPA. All of the employees were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It was slow since it was a Thursday night and not too many things were playing at the arts complex. I'm guessing this place fills up quick on nights when everything is playing. Nonetheless, we had a good meal. The Ankara sandwich was good but lacking in flavor. It needs either a sweet element like a chutney spread or something citrusy to amp up the flavor. The Cubano was very good. They offer a "media mojo" option that gives you a small dish of the mojo marinade to dip in. It makes it like a Cubano meets French Dip situation and I think it was worth the upgrade. The pork in the Cubano was excellent. We finished with a limoncello cake for dessert and it was light and citrusy and a perfect way to end a summer evening. Check this place out if you're going to a show at the DCPA.
This joint opened this week 1 block away and I’ve already been three times—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At this rate I’ll be fat and broke by Memorial Day. For breakfast I had the Eggs Benedict Caprese (tomato+mozz) w/ a balsamic drizzle. So tasty. A nice twist on a classic. Ate it too fast to get a pic. Lunch was an onion soup starter (the sherry shines through :) and a half-salad with turkey and veggies. I loved the dressing; the turkey was so cold that it was tough. Let this one rest a bit before diving in. The onion soup is addictive. $31.46 total Dinner was a grilled artichoke starter and then a chicken entree large enough for two people. Artichoke is something I never cook at home so it was nice to have some without going to a fancy restaurant. Tasty dip. The chicken was delicious with a tangy broth and a hint of basil + mint (a trick I’ll be stealing for my home cooking ;) Took home half of it. They could dim the lights a bit at night for atmosphere. $58.76 total including 1 cocktail The place can get a little spendy when you add in the tax and tip and their whopping 7.5% mandatory junk fee. It feels expensive when you consider that you order at the counter and there’s no wait staff but I justify it as an easy way to access inventive fine-dining meals without going to a fancy sit down restaurant.
i was in denver for a conference and stayed at the Curtis so this was a perfect location right near my hotel and only 2 blocks from the convention center! i ended up having 3 meals here in the 4 days because it was just so good! very friendly staff and it was super easy to order from your table using the qr code!
